Markforged has announced the local Australian launch of its newest printer, the PX100 Bender Jetting solution, following the acquisition of Digital Metal last year.

Markforged Digital Metal solution is designed to provide high-precision, best-in-class part quality and reliability. The company’s powder binder jetting capabilities for production grade parts enable manufacturers to produce high volumes of functional metal parts with a variety of metal materials and minimal setup required. Digital Metal printers have produced hundreds of thousands of parts for leaders in consumer products, automotive, academia, and other industries.

‘With the introduction of Markforged PX100 Digital Metal, Markforged takes the next step in our long term commitment to real serial production. Markforged Metal Binder Jetting 3D printing brings manufacturing home, offering supply chain resilience and capabilities to manufacture small to large scale serial production of metal parts at the point of need. The PX100 builds on the experience of more than 20 years of development of MBJ machines for production of complex metal parts with unparalleled precision and repeatability. The PX100 offers a unique combination of high precision and high throughput to ensure the user gets a robust production solution using the latest technology and innovation as well as being a future proof platform to support manufacturing needs for years to come’ said Christian Lönne, CEO, Digital Metal.

‘We are excited to announce the launch of the PX100 Binder Jetting system, a game-changing technology that will revolutionize high-volume metal production in Australian manufacturing. With this innovative solution, our customers can eliminate third-party supplier risks and costs, insource critical production runs, and build large quantities of discrete or customized parts with precision and reliability. We are confident that this technology will empower our customers to become industry leaders in Australian manufacturing’ said Richard Elving, Senior Director Australia, Markforged.
