Chemical Solutions Ltd celebrates 30 years in the cleaning and hygiene industry

29th of April 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of Chemical Solutions Ltd. An exciting time of celebrations will follow in person and online, where Chemical Solutions will look back over the past 3 decades of operations.

Highlights since first starting out in 1992 include developing from a small 3-person business into one of the largest privately-owned chemical businesses in the sector, outgrowing three factories over the years, and more recently, opening the Christchurch Distribution Centre to enable the company to better serve their South Island customers.

Terry Morris, director of Chemical Solutions and one of the company’s founding members, said: “The key to our success have been people. We have a talented team who all play a critical part in giving our customers great products when they need them. We pride ourselves on doing the simple things right. It does not matter who the customer is, or how big they are, they all get personal service and are genuinely appreciated for using our products.”

“Our goal has never been to the biggest, it has always been to be the best we can be. The growth has come from always keeping that philosophy in our hearts and minds. A special thank you to everyone who has shared this journey – whether that has been a big or small part. We know we could not have done it without you.”

Morris also paid a tribute to Peter Vaughan, company’s founding chemist who passed away in 2000: “Way before being green was a trend, Peter had a passion for developing cleaning compounds from natural sources such as sugar. He was way ahead of his time. And he would have been immensely proud of how the company has grown and the ongoing development of environmentally responsible products.”
