Become a STEM superhero!

The Wonder Project is Engineering New Zealand’s free programme for schools, designed to get young Kiwis excited about careers in STEM: science, technology, engineering and maths.

If you're a STEM professional, they’d love you to join their network of Wonder Project Ambassadors.

The Wonder Project reached nearly 20,000 students in 2020 with their Rocket Challenge and they’re aiming to reach 35,000 kids this year. The programme pairs teachers and students with STEM professionals to come into the classroom for an hour a week, over a 6–8 week period during Term 2.

Help students design, build, and launch water rockets, support teachers and show young Kiwis how awesome STEM is! It’s the fun way to earn continuing professional development hours too, plus, you’ll get to:

  • improve your public speaking and leadership skills
  • spread STEM wonder
  • future-proof the industry

It’s easy to get involved – simply sign up online.
