MORNSUN’s new switching regulator K78xx-2000R3 series is rated at 2A in addition to their non-isolated DC-DC converter range and designed as drop-in alternatives for traditional 78xx series three-terminal linear regulators.
Features an ultra-wide input voltage range of 6-36V, an 0.1mA ultra-low no load input current, continuous short-circuit protection, with low ripple noise ~ typically 30mV with a wide operating temperature of -40 to +85˚C, whilst delivering efficiencies up to 95 percent, eliminating any heat sink requirement.
Due to its low cost and small size only 11.5x9.00x17.5mm makes the K78xx-2000R3 series a small and efficient regulator suitable for use in industrial control, medical, mining, railway and or in any application requiring a 2A regulator in 3.3, 5, 9, 12 or 15volts.
