With Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 7000 medium voltage drives from NHP, you can achieve the flexibility and highly efficient performance your applications demand.
Add to this reliability, maintainability and ease-of-use and you can look to decrease your lifecycle costs.
Designed for applications ranging from 2300V to 6600V, these air-cooled drives can combine a transformer-less direct-to-drive topology, industry-leading semiconductor technology and heat-pipe and Liquid cooling in an easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain system.
For efficient performance, the PowerFlex 7000 drive features an active front-end rectifier and intelligent motor control information and communication capabilities. The drive’s simple power structure and straightforward design eases installation, operation and maintenance.
The PowerFlex 7000 drives from NHP can simplify your system’s power structure with direct-to-drive technology. This technology combines an active front-end rectifier to reduce line-side harmonics, SGCT power semiconductors and common mode voltage protection ¬– so you can connect directly to your power source – without a bulky isolation transformer.
You can also connect any new or existing motor directly to the drive without additional motor filtering.
The PowerCage converter modules house arc flash-resistant SGCT semiconductors in a compact, modular package that has fewer components and faster semiconductor device change-out than other medium voltage drives.
The pulse-width modulated inverter, which provides near sinusoidal output motor voltage and current waveforms, enable the use of existing motors and cables.
Thanks to highly efficient heat pipe technology, you can apply an air-cooled drive for 3300V, 4160V, and 6600V high power applications.
Inherently reliable, heat pipes are sealed units with no moving parts and no maintenance requirements. The larger frame sizes are liquid cooled and can cover up to 25.4MW.
