Kennametal expands BTKV Tooling Systems lineup

Kennametal has announced the expansion of its BTKV Tooling Systems platform with the new BTKV30—a tooling system designed specifically for small parts machining in industries like aerospace, medical, oil and gas, transportation and general engineering.

 "Kennametal is always listening and responding to the changing needs of the industry. We're proud to deliver enhanced productivity and precision in small parts machining to customers with the new BTKV30 Tooling System," said Scott Etling, Vice President of Global Product Management.

 Featuring taper face contact for better rigidity and precision in demanding applications in both roughing and finishing, the latest BTKV offering ensures effective machining at high rotational speeds. BTKV30 features the following Kennametal frontends:

  • Hydraulic Chuck adapters
  • Shrink Fit adapters
  • Shell Mill adapters
  • Screw-on adapters
  • ER collets adapters & enhanced ER bearing nut
