The latest non-contact temperature measurement sensors from ifm electronic can now measure targets ranging between 0 – 2,500 deg C. While providing users with both 4 – 20mA and adjustable switch outputs.
This new series of sensor sets a new benchmark in precise temperature measurement for remote hot bodies, and user interface via a local 7 segment LED display. Calibration push buttons facilitate simple and fast on-site set up.
Non-contact temperature measurement has always been an expensive option for industrial users working with and making asphalt, coated metal, liquids, glass, rubber, glass, wood, MDF, ceramics, plastics, lacquers, food products, paper, fabric, steel, aluminium, etc. but with ifm electronic’s new TW range, measurements can be made easily and efficiently, for a reasonable price. The sensor does all the work due to sophisticated electronics, and calibration is as simple as point and set.
Measured values are converted to a scaled 4 - 20mA analogue output, with an additional output for high/low level switching output. The robust yet precise TW range, come in four variants over different temperature ranges. All featuring the robust high-quality precision scratch proof lens, specifically designed to reduce external light to a minimum – a prerequisite for precise non-contact temperature measurement.
