New GM/MD for Emerson AUS and NZ

Boris Gabin has been appointed General Manager/Managing Director of Emerson Process Management Australia and New Zealand, and brings with him over 20 years’ experience across multiple roles in the Automation, Instrumentation and Control industry. Gabin joined Emerson in 2008 as Account Manager in Perth, was promoted to Regional Manager – Western Australia in 2013 and was an integral member of the ANZ management team. Under his leadership, Western Australian region exceeded business targets over the past 24 months, in a challenging market environment. 

Born in Durban, South Africa, Gabin immigrated to Australia in the mid 1980’s. He obtained his qualification in Electrical Engineering from Durban University of Technology and later returned to Perth in 2001 where he has resided for the past 15 years. 

A dynamic business and family man, with a deep passion for technology improvement, Gabin will continue to drive Emerson Brand Promise, says the company. Gabin takes over from Karl Wigginton.
