Omron offers free e-Learning options

Automation, News

The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing many people to work from home. While this may be disruptive for some, it also presents outstanding opportunities for online learning.

Omron, a global leader in industrial automation, is now offering a range of free electronic learning (e-Learning) courses. There are 50 courses available in total.

Most have been translated into 13 different languages, including Chinese, Korean, Indonesian and Vietnamese.

The courses cover a wide range of topics, including sensing, safety, control components, automation, motion and drives. Each course occupies a small footprint of network bandwidth and will take 60-90 minutes to complete. Most courses also provide additional resources for further learning.

The learning is self-paced and a quick-quiz is provided at the end of each section to test learning.

Users can register for a free e-Learning course at: https://omronlearning.com/#/login

Also, Omron offers a range of free Technical Guides that explain the operating principles behind many of the most commonly used automation products.

Guides are in a popular PDF format and cover technical aspects and internal workings.

They are available at: http://www.ia.omron.com/support/guide/index.html

Users can also learn about the basics of building a control panel: http://www.omron.com.au/solution/panel/article/article_000207.html
