Protective coating has many applications

General

RUST-OLEUM Industrial Coatings, based in the US, manufactures anti-corrosion coatings specially formulated to speed up maintenance painting when time is against the applicator – due to factors such as factory closure time, weather, restrictions put in place regarding hazardous materials as well as other constraints.
Whether it’s applying anti-corrosion, waterproofing coatings to the exterior of buildings and gutters, structural internal or external steel, factory floors or food processing plants – Rust-oleum has an array of solvent- and water-based products to cover every aspect.
The protective anti-corrosion coating Noxyde is one coating system that has been very well accepted. Its application over the past ten years in New Zealand has proven it to be the most dynamic system for many severe or coastal environments.
Noxyde is a single component, water-based, direct to metal, high build elastomeric polymer rubber protective coating. It is incredibly strong and durable, displays excellent adhesion over most prepared sound surfaces, including existing painted surfaces, has excellent UV stability and will not become brittle with age.
It is also a very effective waterproofing membrane for non-ferrous surfaces, and can be found on concrete block, asbestos encapsulation, over butynol, to name just a few applications.
Noxyde has been applied to viaducts, bridges, suspension cables, power stations, lighthouses, rusty galvanized roofs, grain silos and structural steel.

Modern Maintenance Products is the New Zealand representative for Rust-oleum Industrial Coatings, and carries a reasonable level of stock of its products.
