The Igus Readychain Speed 2.0 is latest development of the plug-in readychain concept that fits directly onto a machine without specialist tools.

The new system combines the connector, mounting bracket and energy chain in one single unit making the connection three times faster. It can accommodate 16 different modular inserts for any common connector type for control, fibre optic, data or pneumatic lines. In addition, the energy chain can easily be taken on or off by hand as it does not need to be bolted into position.
In high cost production areas such as the automotive industry, machine downtime can be extremely expensive.

As no tools are required, the readychain speed 2.0 can be quickly swapped when necessary, significantly reducing machine downtime and maintenance costs.
