Your guide to getting back to work post Covid-19 lockdown - MESNZ Hosted Online Workshop. Thursday 23rd April 12:30 pm

“As businesses look to start up next week under COVID-19 level 3 restrictions there are new health and safety guidelines and practices that need to be implemented, as well as managing the usual task of starting machinery and process equipment after an extended 4-5 week shut down. The Maintenance Engineering Society of New Zealand (MESNZ) has been busy over the last few weeks helping to develop revised health and safety guidelines (attached) to enable manufacturing to start up safely and as efficiently as possible.

MESNZ are kicking off a new level of support by hosting a post lock-down start up workshop this Thursday 23rd April 12:30pm.  We will cover the application of these new working conditions along with a high-level overview of what to remember when starting up your plant after an extended downtime period. We understand that many of you may not have had sufficient time to properly shut down all of you equipment the way that you normally would. The forum will provide an opportunity for us to share our their collective experience, as well as those who are a little less certain to brush up on the key points to address before your operators hit the big green button next week!

The workshop will be facilitated by MESNZ and include selected industry representatives keen to share their wealth of experience as we all pull together to get New Zealand back to work, safely and productively. “
