EECA Business is holding a free half day industrial energy efficiency workshop in Christchurch on 1 May 2013.
The workshop is an opportunity for businesses using process heat and motorised systems to come together with energy efficiency experts, to share their experiences and knowledge.
There will be case study presentations from companies that have benefited from improved industrial energy efficiency.
Business commentator Rod Oram will also talk about how energy efficiency can fuel business innovation and growth.
Energy can be a significant business cost for companies running industrial processes. Improved efficiency can reduce costs, improve productivity and boost brand value.
EECA has programmes to support energy saving in motors, motorised systems and process heat, where the largest energy-saving potential is typically found.
The Christchurch workshop follows a successful process heat workshop that EECA Business held in Auckland in February.
