Foam and fibre product provider Nexus Foams has won the 2012 Westpac Auckland South Business awards.
The company won the New Zealand Steel Excellence in Innovation and Improvement award – recognition that it provides outstanding customer solutions for industrial and technical applications.
Nexus supplies Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Fusion Electronics, Ampelite, Alsynite, Tyco, Aucom, Navico and Yike Bikes.
Grant Simmonds, Nexus Foams general manager says: "We think Nexus is a great example that New Zealand businesses can still have a strong, growing, future with innovative added-value niche manufacturing.”
The awards attracted nearly 100 entries from companies in the service, engineering, retail, health, manufacturing and food sectors.
