Dyno Conveyors says the recent Foodtech Packtech 2016 was definitely the best yet.
The biennial Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Packaging & Processing Technology trade event, was the biggest in over a decade with leading industry suppliers from all over New Zealand and many from overseas participating this year.
Nearly 200 exhibiting companies were involved, showcasing the latest technologies, products and services to inspire New Zealand’s Food & Beverage manufacturing, packaging and processing industry.
Dyno Conveyors’ Scott McLean, said the overall mood was buoyant and industry interest in their products was strong. “It’s great to talk with people in the industry about how their businesses are going, and about what they’re looking for to help make them even better. It’s really essential for us to be part of that conversation.”
McLean said Dyno’s new belt conveyor was among the most talked-about product.
In terms of design, safety was the main focus with attention to reducing gaps and pinch points. The tail guarding adjusts with the tensioning of the belt and maintains minimum gaps. In addition, moving the tensioning mechanism inside the conveyor gives clean, flush sides: Better all round!
Foodtech Packtech was also the first time current, and potential, clients had a chance to talk over the recently-launched Dyno Care, a state-of-the-art maintenance programme – which adds another string to Dyno Conveyors’ already impressive bow, says Dyno.
In addition, the company gave away four copies of food icon Heston Blumenthal’s book In Search Of Perfection which McLean says was a natural association for his company; “It’s all about great food and, of course, striving to be your best.”
