Mornsun’s 3W AC/DC converter integrated CAN/485 transceiver TLAxx-03KCAN & TLAxx-03K485 for Industrial Control

Electrical Technology

Distributed in Australia and New Zealand by DLPC Pty Ltd the NEW Mornsun TLAxx-03KCAN & TLAxx-03K485 series are 3W AC/DC power supplies with integrated CAN or RS485 transceivers that takes it’s power directly from the main AC or DC supply line (85-305VAC/100-430VDC) and can be used with either AC or DC in a dual use application . They are compact in size, cost-effective & ideal for industrial control, grid power and instrumentation applications.

There are two isolated outputs, the main DC power output is up to 2.5W and the auxiliary powers bus communication. The AC/DC mains isolation voltage is 4000VAC between AC input terminal and two DC output terminals, with the isolation between the 2 DC outputs being 1500VDC.

These CAN & RS485 series devices use female headers with common pins which ensure customers have easy automated processing, maintenance and replacement. The Mornsun TLAxx-03KCAN & TLAxx-03K485 series are protected by patents.

Typical applications include but are not limited to, Industrial control, grid power and instrumentation applications where demanding volume, wide input voltage range, isolation bus and the need to meet UL / CE certification.

These devices feature

Compact size, wide input voltage range: 85-305VAC/100-430VDC with AC and DC dual-use (input from the same terminal), Isolation voltage: 4000VAC, Protections: SCP, OCP, Baud rate up to 1Mbps (CAN) / 500kbps (485), Connects up to 110 (CAN) / 128 (485) nodes on one bus, Open frame, high power density

Flexible peripheral circuit design removing from layout troubles, meets UL60950 & EN60950 standards
