Westland Milk products, based in Hokitika, is New Zealand’s second biggest dairy co-operative and the only dairy company on the West Coast of the South Island. We have really had to up our game within the last few years and we needed a software solution to help us do that. The Azzmax Team (creators of the Workmate CMMS solution) has worked with us to build a really solid platform for growth and provided several new technology initiatives to help us do that.” Pullen adds, “Workmate is actually much more than a conventional CMMS as virtually everyone on site uses the solution. Workmate takes care of all our engineering inventory and purchasing requirements with about 80 percent of all purchase orders being managed by the system. All new work requests are processed and allocated through Workmate and I have complete control of what is happening on a daily basis. The new ‘iMate’ (iPad) module for mobile asset management is in the process of being implemented as we speak and this will add another dimension to our operation.”
