Optris IRMobile

Thermal Imaging

Bring sophisticated thermography into your smartphone or tablet.

Eurotec Ltd, based in Penrose, Auckland, offer a variety of high-quality non-contact temperature measurement equipment from our European suppliers, including German non-contact temperature measurement manufacturer Optris. With products ranging from portable handheld thermal imagers to pyrometers and fixed in-line cameras, Optris have been developing and manufacturing innovative infrared measurement devices for non-contact temperature measurement for over 15 years.

After introducing IRmobile and the Optris calculator app in 2018, Optris have now released the next exciting Android software supporting all Optris PI and Xi imagers – IRmobile Vision.

With the new Optris IRmobile Vision app, you can monitor and analyze your infrared temperature measurement directly on a connected smartphone or tablet from your Optris infrared camera. The app runs on Android devices (version 5 or higher) with a micro USB or USB-C port that supports USB OTG (On The Go). The app is very user friendly. After connecting your Optris PI or Xi imager via the optional IR app Connector cable to the USB port of your mobile phone or tablet, the app launches automatically. The IR camera is fully powered by your phone and calibration files are automatically downloaded from the internet, offering greater flexibility while in the field.

IRmobile Vision app features:

• Live infrared image with automatic hot and cold spot search.
• Adjustable camera features like temperature range and frame rate.
• Selectable colour palettes.
• Change of temperature unit: Celsius or Fahrenheit.
• Snapshot features.
• Integrated simulator.

Supported for:
• Optris PI and Xi series.
• For Android devices running 5.0 or higher with Micro USB or USB-C connector supporting USB-OTG (On The Go).
