IP67 Power Supply Units with IO-Link for Field Installation

Electrical Technology

Turck's compact PSU67 power supply units ensure energy-efficient, decentralized power supply in modular systems at ambient temperatures from -25 to +70 °C

Turck’s new compact power supply units can be installed directly in the field without any protective measures. This makes it possible to completely dispense with switch cabinets and switch boxes. The robust PSU67 power supply units are rated to IP67, operate in temperatures from -25 to +70 °C, have models for 1- and 3-phase and are available in 15, 20 or 25 A models. Ideal for applications in modular machine building the PSU67 power supply units utilise M12, 7/8” or HAN-Q4 industrial connectivity.

The decentralized power supply units supply 24 to 28 VDC directly in the field without cable run loss and offer a high level of fail safety thanks to their electronic no load, overload and short circuit protection. A high efficiency of over 95% ensures an optimum energy balance. The output voltage can be configured directly on the device via an LED interface or remotely via IO-Link.

The PSU67 power supply units have a smart IO-Link interface to enable communication and provide the data transparency needed for Industry 4.0 applications, such as predictive maintenance or condition monitoring. The end-to-end transmission of process, consumption, event and diagnostic data right through to the cloud enables continuous monitoring and optimisation in the background. The captured data helps to increase system availability and improve the energy efficiency of the application.
