Efficient BOGE S-4 screw compressor with extended power range

Hydraulics and Pneumatics

The expanded fourth generation of the S series covers a power range from 45 to 160 kW – with energy savings of up to 12 percent. In addition, experts will provide information about how an unlimited number of compressors and accessory components can be controlled depending on consumption, using the smart interlocking control airtelligence provis 3.

The models are characterised by quiet, reliable operation and have excellent efficiency values: Compared with the previous model, the compressor’s energy consumption has been reduced by up to twelve percent, while the free air delivery has been increased by almost nice percent. The S-4 models are equipped with powerful IE4 motors and permanent magnet motors that can also be operated in environments with extreme temperatures above 45 °C.

Improved operation during duty and idle cycles with airtelligence provis 3

The airtelligence provis 3 control at the trade show allows the management of an unlimited number of compressors and accessory components depending on consumption. Via the new Modbus interface module, the airtelligence provis 3 easily integrates compressors from other manufacturers.

Powerful control algorithms improve operation during duty and idle cycles, thus optimising the compressor station. “With the expanded fourth generation of the S series and the airtelligence provis 3, we are setting new standards in compressed air management”, explains Christian Schlüter, Head of Marketing at BOGE.
