The latest mainline filtration range from SMC Corporation, the AC-D series, will now officially be front and centre following the announcement of the formal phase out of its predecessor the AC-A and AC-B series.
Launched in 2022, the AC-D series is the company’s answer to a modular, modern air filtration solution – designed to enhance connectivity and productivity in the plant.
It’s improved look and feel significantly improves the range’s effectiveness in food grade facilities and the addition of food grade grease options and never-before-seen bacteria filtration further enhances the life span and effectiveness of food manufacturing equipment.
Good Air Filtration is at the Heart of the Factory
It’s no secret that air treatment equipment is at the heart of every factory, and that any company using compressed air needs to ensure that the air running through their system is properly prepared for a long service life and the efficient equipment operation.
SMC Corporation understands the importance of quality air treatment, so much so, that much of their success was founded upon it. For companies where tampering with devices is of concern, the AC-D series is also equipped with a lockable on-off valve that can be secured with a padlock for extra safety.
In addition, the AC-D series is compatible with other components to help control operations, these include:
a) Electronic proportional regulators
b) Air flow switches with integrated temperature and pressure sensing.
c) Integrated pressure detecting
d) Monitored air dump valves for safety circuits
