Bonfiglioli had a function on 3rd April to officially open their new premises at 32 Sistema Way Mangere. This marks a significant milestone for the company.

They entered the New Zealand market in 2004 with one staff member working from home, in 2006 they moved to a shared warehouse in Mangere. The brand-new facility in Auckland, features a warehouse space of approximately 1200 m2, and almost 170 m2 of office space.

“The workshop is equipped with five Jib cranes, a paint booth and a parts washer, three assembler workstations, as well as factory supplied assembly and testing machines,” explains New Zealand Country Manager, Paul Savage.

With this equipment and these facilities, Bonfiglioli New Zealand has the capabilities to assemble the complete CAFS range which covers Inline Helical, Helical Bevel and Parallel Helical gearmotors, with a torque range between 100Nm – 14,000Nm. It also assembles the VF W worm series, with a torque range from 13 Nm to 2000Nm.“We also have an extensive stock holding of the 300 Series planetary range, and offer local assembly of this range, up to 105,000Nm,” adds Paul.

There are now 10 staff with plans to add more.

The official ribbon cutting was performed by Bonfiglioli Australia and New Zealand MD, Martin Broglia who commented “The relocation of the New Zealand branch to this new address marks a significant milestone, not just because this is a move into state-of-the-art facilities in a prime location, but because it is the culmination of hard work and commitment,” he said. “This new facility will allow the New Zealand team to further expand its offering to a growing customer base, and ensure these customers continue to get comprehensive and prompt service”.
