Kennametal Introduces New GOmill PRO Solid Carbide End Mill Lineup

Kennametal has announced the launch of the GOmill PRO solid carbide end mill platform—a new, versatile and cost-efficient solution for general engineering, transportation, energy and medical shops. 

“With its versatility and boosted performance capabilities, GOmill PRO can serve as a true do-it-all end mill that’s reliable even in the most challenging materials,” said Scott Etling, Kennametal Vice President Global Product Management. “GOmill PRO packs the power and efficiency to deliver next-level cutting performance and cost savings on the shop floor.” 

Designed for cutting steels, stainless steels and cast iron, the new solid carbide end mills feature:

  • An asymmetric divided flute for better vibration control and tool life and smoother cutting
  • A variable helix angle for better vibration control and tool life
  • A tapered core for better chip evacuation and tool strength
  • Multilayer TIN/TIALN coating for high-performance at medium-high cutting on steels, stainless steels and cast iron
  • Special relief design for higher edge strength, better vibration control and workpiece material flexibility
