New appointments at Aurecon

News

Engineering and consulting firm Aurecon has appointed Andrew Muller, previously CFO of Lendlease Construction & Infrastructure Australia, as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and as a member of its Executive Committee effective 1 February 2016.

This appointment follows the decision of Aurecon CFO, Tony McCusker to step down from the CFO role and to continue working for us on a part time basis.

Also joining the Aurecon stable is Michael Shirley as Managing Director, Clients and a member of Aurecon’s Executive Committee. Shirley joins Aurecon from Jacobs, where he was most recently Group Vice President ANZ Infrastructure and Environment. Throughout his career, Michael has worked with clients on large infrastructure projects and in global delivery across Asia Pacific, the Americas, and the Middle East.

Aurecon’s new Global Design to Innovate Director the Chair of Good Design Australia Maureen Thurston. Thurston joins Aurecon from Deloitte where she implemented design practices to help transform the Australian accounting firm from a traditional professional services organisation to a bold innovator. Chair of Design Australia and an Adjunct Professor at UTS, Thurston is an industrial designer, educator, entrepreneur and author and has over 30 years of experience capturing the aggregate value of design.
