The best engineers never stop learning

Maintenance Matters

At NMEC we have gathered together some of the leading maintenance engineering experts to provide the NMEC Training Village.

These career-transforming professional development courses are designed to help individuals and organisations reach and stay at the leading edge of engineering and technology.  They’re right up there with the best world-class training.  They are up to date, relevant and accessible to you.

Here’s how it works.
On Tuesday 14 November (the day before the conference), a select group of trainers will be providing specialist technical and management short training courses at the NMEC venue Claudelands.  These courses are not part of the conference and must be booked separately.  Some are free while others charge a modest per head fee.  If you’re interested you book directly with the training provider
All of the information is on our website www.nmec.co.nz – go to the Training Village page.

Here’s a list of what is on offer:

  • Health and Safety Made Simple
  • Compressed Air Seminar
  • Industry 4.0 and What This Now Means For Modern Production
  • Lean Maintenance Made Simple
  • Engineering Steels & Processing Awareness
  • Welding without Failure

You don’t have to be attending the conference to take part in these training courses, but of course, it could make sense to take the training and then attend NMEC - without exception, the very best learning experience for engineers in NZ.
