New Bosch laser measures with camera

Time-saving planning and documentation through connectivity

When using the GLM 100-25 C Professional and GLM 150-27 C Professional laser measures from Bosch, tradespeople and planners can simply, quickly, and safely measure distances in bright environments and long distances indoors and outdoors. Both models are equipped with a camera and, thanks to the viewfinder with a zoom function, make it easy for the user to precisely aim at the target point. This means that even large distances up to 100 meters or 150 meters can be measured precisely. The new laser measures offer a significant advantage: The camera image can be seen in real time throughout the measuring process. It remains visible even after measuring so that the correct target point can be rechecked and confirmed. This allows users to recognize and avoid errors. The GLM 100-25 C Professional and GLM 150-27 C Professional also transmit their measured values via an integrated Bluetooth function to the MeasureOn App in which the measured values can be digitally processed via smartphone and tablet. This makes tradespeople and planners more efficient – from roofers, scaffolders, and landscape gardeners through to site managers.

Rapid processing, documentation, and remote control via the MeasureOn App

The MeasureOn App saves time during planning and documentation. It helps to organize, evaluate, and share measurement results from anywhere. In addition, other content such as construction site photos, floor plan sketches, and notes can be added to a project to best capture and manage it. The app can also be used as a remote control for the laser measures so that measurements can be taken without blurring and without requiring any assistance from colleagues. Both laser measures automatically store the results of the last 50 measurements independently of the app. The GLM 150-27 C Professional also offers users a visual memory: Its camera stores up to 700 images and shows the last 50 images in the display together with the measured value. This means that each individual measurement can be assigned. Its stored data can also be transferred to a PC via the micro-USB interface and read out as CSV list and JPEG. This makes further processing easy for tradespeople and planners, for example in quotation and invoicing software.

Easy-to-read color display with a robust protective screen

Every measurement result can be easily read on the 2.8-inch colour display. The display automatically rotates with every inclination – just like a smartphone. The IPS display is firmly attached to the glass surface so that the ambient light cannot refract in the interim space and is not reflected. In addition, the display can be easily viewed from every perspective – even from the side. This means that it is easier to read, in contrast to traditional laser measures, even when used outdoors in strong sunlight. The protective screen is extremely robust and scratch-resistant to meet the tough requirements on construction sites. IP54 dust and splash protection also helps in this respect.

Easy operation minimizes application errors

The GLM 100-25 C Professional and GLM 150-27 C Professional rely on proven and easy operation with a click wheel, as is also the case with the GLM 50-27 C and CG Professional laser measures for example. All functions such as the calculation of length, area and volume are explained by means of easy-to-understand texts and animations. The tools also feature a 360° tilt sensor and, therefore, can also be used to measure inclines and as a digital spirit level. Furthermore, you can switch them on or off using an additional measurement button on the side and trigger the measuring process so that you can guarantee an ergonomic handling in any environment. Automatic measuring pin recognition eliminates the need for manual switching of the reference and minimizes measurement errors. Easy handling together with a wide range of applications and time-saving planning and documentation make the laser measures a reliable companion on construction sites.

The AA-battery-operated GLM 100-25 C Professional will be available from April onwards and the lithium-Ion-battery-operated GLM 150-27 C Professional from June on
