PACIFIC Hoists this year celebrates 20 years of business, having started trading on 1st July 1987. For two decades the company has specialised in quality lifting solutions, and its products are still at the peak of the market.
Pacific Hoists represents products such as Hitachi electric chain hoists and trolleys, Vital chain and lever blocks, J.D.Neuhaus pneumatic chain hoists, Kromer tool balancers, and Inter Product plate clamps – all quality products from Japan, Germany and Holland that can be relied upon to deliver safe and dependable service for many years.
In addition, full spare parts back-up plays a major role in the service provided by Pacific Hoists.
The company is proud of the reputation it has built up in this field and was recently presented with a Top Customer Service Award from a group of New Zealand engineering resellers.
Customers now find that the initial investment in a quality product from a reputable manufacturer pays dividends in long time dependability and service.
“Recently we have seen an emergence of lower quality products enter the New Zealand market,” says a Pacific Hoists spokesperson. “On the face of it, they look similar to top quality brands. However, people do not have to wait long to learn the initial cost saving ends up being a costly exercise when all too frequently spare parts and service is non-existent.”
One example of the quality and back up offered by Pacific Hoists is the IP range of plate lifting products from Holland. This company recently instigated a 10 year warranty for the dependability of safe lifting clamps (when used in conjunction with a regular inspection and replacement of consumable parts). This is a similar scenario to the motor industry – a product which is regularly inspected, tested and serviced, will give years of quality service. To that end, Pacific Hoists has invested in maintenance and repair kit sets to ensure extended service can be maintained.
Another example is the Vital range of chain and lever blocks from Japan. Pacific Hoists has represented Vital in New Zealand since 1987 and has spare parts and the ability to service all the models sold over the past 20 years.
