LED signage offers a number of advantages across a wide range of industrial applications.
They are a highly effective means of increasing production visibility by displaying your production figures in real time. Electronic signage can also be utilised to increase workplace safety awareness, by displaying a company’s safety record in man hours. Or use them to motivate staff by posting important announcements.
Polycomp Electronic Signs supplies all types of electronic displays including alpha-numeric, numeric only (LED 7 segment), graphic and video boards for use in all light conditions.
“We offer high quality electronic displays and our casings are weatherproof, rated IP65, well suited to New Zealand’s damp weather conditions,” says Polycomp’s Nissim Cohen.
“We fabricate and assemble many of our signs here in Auckland, and our powder-coated aluminium casings are made by an overseas subcontracter using fully automated laser machines for perfect results.”
The signs are very easy to maintain and meet CE and FCC standards.
“LEDs and other components used in our signs are sourced from reputable companies only to meet our very high standards,” says Cohen.

Established in 1997, Polycomp offers a wide range of electronic signs for factory production displays. Options include:
• LED intensities of 40,100, 800 or 2000 mcd.
• LED colours of red, pure green, yellow, blue and white.
• Any number of lines.
• Character heights ranging from 30mm up to 250mm and higher.
• RS232, RS422, RS485, current loop, wireless link, cabled keypad, TCP/IP, landline modem and GPRS communication.
• PC software and communication protocol provided.
• Aluminium and high grade stainless IP54 enclosures.
“We design various options of communication protocols for PLCs, PCs and other equipment to interface with our displays,” adds Cohen. “Should you have special applications, we can work with you to design a firmware to meet your specific needs.”
